I was in RA yesterday and we had a team with 1 mesmer, 1 ele, 1 wammo and 1 ranger (me). Anyway, we are facing a fairly good team (their builds weren't utter crap and they had a decent monk) and the wammo dies, I use my rez signet asap. Then the mesmer and ele both die to the warrior, wammo dies before using his rez signet (probably didn't have one). I am there alone and the mesmer starts cussing at me to use my rez signet, which I already did. I die and am back in d2. Angry pm's start flooding in from the mesmer telling me I am a noob and should go back to PvE... I tell him that I was the first to use my rez signet yet he keeps on cussing. I eventually had to block him. From now on when playing in RA I am going to ping spam ten times when I use my rez signet so its very clear that I used it....

Yeah, same thing happened to me in RA. Stupid assassin dies and I rez him. Assassin dies again. Quickly followed by the Ele and monk. I'm left alone and the monk is spamming REZ ME REZ ME REZ ME REZ ME OMFG!!!! RU A F** MORON!!!! REZ ME NOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in the lobby beach area he's still cussing me out and telling everyone in local to resign if they get stuck with me on their team because I'm a noob that won't rez.

Same thing happened to me once.

In HA, I was playing a PuG balanced (Unranked mind you), and on the first map, that monk was dead and told the team "OMG RES FAST FFS" (Which I was already in the middle of until I got d-shotted), straight after I told him it was d-shotted and he was telling me to get into a better position, even though the Ghostly was in a good spot to be able to d-shot anyone.

A guildie & I were messing around in UW by having 2 A/E's clear different groups of Mindblades at the same time just for sh*ts & giggles. We let another Guildie tag along & we finished a run. We were going to do another run & he was like "let me change to my Searing Flames build" we were like please just come along & hang out, if you interact you will make the run take longer.

He tells me (the guild leader) to stop being delusional. I explained to him again that he was just goin to make the run more diffucult for us if he were to participate with his skill set. He again told me to stop being delusional & to act like a human. I warned him not to rip on the guild leader, & his response was "get used to it".

So I logged onto our forums to check out his profile & low & behold his age is 16. We have an over 18 only policy. So I gave him the boot.

He then goes into this story about how "The Order" will deal with me real soon, & that they had made a rule that he was not to be kicked out of any Guild that he was in. On top of that, he threatened that the "High Council" will deal with me as well, for age discrimination. (I guess the "High Council" is the Court of Law :P ).

This was taking place in AC of TOA, someone sent him an invite to their Guild, as this went on for a good 25 minutes. When this kid left TOA, the person who invited him was like "wo that kid is wierd" & my Guildie was like, "then why did you invite him into your Guild?" He says "This was funny & we wanted to milk it."

All in all I think that the kid was the one who was delusional :S

Yes my fav class in the game to play is monk. That said i almost never play it anymore. Why? Well energy management. If we kill a group of 7 baddies and i am healing the group I will need to get my energy back up.

But ohhhh no! There is no time for that. Hurry hurry rush rush. Then get called names for being noob and no good monk.

I am like what? Were you not alive after the first group? Geesh. This is why the monks go crazy. I stopped playing with real people a long time ago with my monk. I hate it. I hate it with a passion. Do this, res that guy. Patience please. Hold up what is the rush.

When i ping 2 0f 48 energy why do you just run and agro.

I started to run Necro as second so that could sacrifice health for energy to try and compensate for this energy drain. If the war do not protect me and let the war baddies run past them to attack me I am going to heal myself first of course. Then they die and rant and then i leave. Nuff said.

This thread RULES, so much laughs, I have read from page 1 today (I was enjoying reading this thread too much >_> so I kept reading it from the first page without stopping lol)

and Kusandaa, your storys are great XD <3

as for me, don't have any PvE storys since all my PUGs in PvE have been great wierdly enough (although I have not done UW or FoW )

I do have one for RA though:

I went to RA, clicked enter battle and what do I see once all my team members had loaded up,

Monk: OMG, I AM WITH NOOB TEAM, YOU ALL ARE NOOBS. NO HEAL
Me: *thinking WTF*
*the three members except the monk, went, fought and died, by this time the monk had quitted*
Me:....and he called us n00bs

I then promtly ranted to my guild mates about it and about how he called us n00bs even though he had never even tried to fight >.<

depends on certain situations and the mission you are in, there are cases where pugs are necessary, since heroes and henchies don't kite really well. But you can leave an exception to monk heroes if well equipped, since they tend to have higher reflexes than a typical human player monk.

My story i think it hilarious. So i am in doa hm run the other day starting in Veil. doing fine when one HB says i am bored, next thing i know he is running grabbing extra mobs, ok not smart but we could handle it for a little while. next thing is he starts tanking, so i start flaming at him, the usual "hey man gtfo of there" soon it was "@#@# noob @#@#@." we end up failing around ten minutes into cons ofcourse this dude thinks its funny.

next day im messing around doing some runs, then i see these guys recruiting for a guild i was in at one point, i really liked the guild so i have them send me an invite. so i open up the guild roster and the same monk from the night before is the guild leader! i was kicked by him within 5 minutes.. it was probablly the highlight of my guild wars career haha.

As a monk who PUGs Slaver's - be fair. There are others who rage too at the first sign of the party wiping. I admit to ragequitting myself, but I personally think if you push me that far, you asked for it.

I'm sure you wouldn't enjoy people making mistakes and then flaming you for it. Overextended and died? "OMG MONK NOOB." Overaggroed? "OMG MONK NOOB." I've met nice PUGs, and I've stayed on to at least attempt to soloheal for some after the other monk leaves - but I see absolutely no point in staying in a group which perpetually decides to wipe itself and then flame me for it. Especially after the monk makes a few suggestions like, say, "could you pull this lot, guys?"

After a while, people do get jaded, especially if a large portion of the people they PUG with behave like 12 year olds who can't admit it's their fault.

EDIT: This is not to say that monks don't behave childishly themselves. I've met a good few who do.

Monk: *uses Rebirth mid-battle
Party: *dies*
Monk: OMFG AVERNE YOU DIDN'T HEAL YOU NOOB.
Me: ...

He was called out on it by another member of the party, but still... And considering this was the Domain of Anguish, I really think he should have known better.

And another story:

I was doing Rragar's with my boyfriend and a PUG. About midway there - after narrowly escaping several party wipes due to three leeroy melees, the (saner) warrior suddenly goes "Why aren't the monks healing? I keep dying." Well, I was pulling my weight, and I said so - when the other monk chips in with "...Oh, I'm chatting with my friend, hang on! Don't worry, the healing will get better once I stop!"
Well, of COURSE it will, don't you think.

He also yelled at me for 'wasting his energy' when he used Heal Party to heal, despite the fact that I was the only one injured due to a monster that slipped past the frontline, and that I could easily have used a small heal to heal myself.

Kind of depends on the situation and the character I use, but whenever I use my monk all sorts of hilarious stuff happen. However, since I actually use my warrior more... Well, less frustration, but there are odd instances where, for absolutely no reason, people leave.

If people in a pug are behaving childishly I take the high road and rage quit, I do this especially when I play monk. Sometimes i deal with it until our group is really close to our goal, then i type /sit and demand compensation for their inexcusable behavior.
